Letter: Keep Kent out of Congress

Personally, I’m very happy to have a working-class person (Marie Gluesenkamp Perez) as our representative in Congress, but, realizing there are many Republicans who may be disenchanted with their party I wanted to provide information on Joe Kent.

First, in his original bio the first time he ran, he listed Matt Gaetz as his favorite member of Congress. Gaetz is as radical as they come and is still being investigated for improper relations with underage girls. Moreover, a recent article in “Popular Information” (an online newsletter) detailed Mr. Kent as, in essence, a “useful idiot” for the Russians and Vladimir Putin.

If you value America’s standing as a defender of democracies (i.e. Ukraine) please consider that in your decision on who to vote for in this election to be our representative.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
