Letter: How about smaller buses?

By Pat Glynn, Vancouver
Published: September 14, 2024, 6:00am

I just read about C-Tran and double-decker buses (“Double-decker buses might be added to C-Tran’s fleet,” The Columbian, Sept. 3). Do these buses float? How will they alleviate congestion on Vancouver’s roadways?

I see all kinds of buses, including the much-ballyhooed Vine, driving around during the day with five to 10 people on them.

What about smaller buses during off commuter hours? C-Tran is not addressing the realities of Clark County. We are not New York City. Our tax money could be better spent.
