Letter: Trump is detached from reality

I support Kamala Harris for president of the United States without apology. Her performance in Tuesday’s debate cements it for me.

My question, however, is this: After watching Donald Trump warn us of doom and gloom for an hour and a half, why would a person vote for him? His dire picture painted of the United States and the world’s future simply are not based in reality. He had four years to fix it all (he said that he’d do it on Day One), and all indications point to his failure, though any failure is clearly someone else’s fault.

Hoping that my pets don’t get eaten tonight.
