VANCOUVER — The Taco Bell Foundation recently awarded $15,000 to the Assistance League Southwest Washington.
The money is designated for the all-volunteer chapter’s annual back-to-school shopping event, held in August, which benefits children in foster care through their JUST because … program.
This grant is part of the Taco Bell Foundation’s mission to break down barriers to education for students.
Michelle Craig, Assistance League Southwest Washington president, said the generosity of the Taco Bell donation will be a tremendous help in fulfilling their goal of transforming lives and strengthening the community.
