HOCKINSON—Mattson Ducharme, La’au Maka and Slavik Shemedyuk scored three touchdowns apiece as Fife tallied 426 total yards in a 48-7 win over Hockinson on Friday in Hockinson.
Ducharme threw for three touchdowns, including an 80-yard catch-and-run score on a deep slant to Shemedyuk late in the first half. He found Shemedyuk again on the first possession of the second half, this time for a 47-yard strike to extend Fife’s lead to 48-7.
Maka added 71 rushing yards, including a 31-yard touchdown run in the second quarter that gave Fife a 14-0 lead early on.
Xavier Maitland scored Hockinson’s lone touchdown with a long 69-yard run to cut Fife’s lead to 14-7 in the first quarter. Hockinson senior starting quarterback Aiden Donowitz was knocked out of the game with an apparent head injury on the Hawks’ second offensive possession.
