Beau Harlan rushed for a touchdown, Anthony Forner had a touchdown reception and the Camas defense did the rest as the Papermakers beat Roosevelt of Seattle 12-6 in a hard-nosed non-league game Friday at Doc Harris Stadium.

Set up by tough runs by Titan Brody, the Papermakers took a 6-0 lead in the second quarter on a 3-yard touchdown run by Harlan.

The Roughriders appeared primed to tie the game or take the lead at halftime before Jared Forner came up with an interception in the end zone to end the threat.

After Camas shut down Roosevelt’s opening possession of the second half, quarterback Jake Davidson connected on passes to Anthony Forner, Niko Speer and Jared Forner before throwing a four-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Forner for a 12-0 lead in the third quarter.

Roosevelt looked to get back in the game with an 80-yard punt return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter, but the Camas defense prevented any other Roosevelt score.
