Jeff Mori retires Oct. 11; the city has no plans for a hiring process

City officials do not yet have a plan for replacing Vancouver police Chief Jeff Mori, who’s slated to retire next month, but Mori has his own idea about who should take over.

Mori announced in July he intends to retire Oct. 11, the same day as outgoing City Manager Eric Holmes.
