How Clark County College Football Players Fared: Four take on new starting roles

The college football season begins next week for most college football players from Clark County, but several kicked off their seasons last Saturday.

Rush Reimer made his first start at left guard for California. The senior from Camas joined the Golden Bears in the transfer portal after a successful few years at Montana State.

Another Camas graduate made his first start at a new school. Tristan Souza had three tackles starting on the defensive line for Buffalo after playing last season for Washington State.

Making his first start at linebacker, Skyview grad Cooper Barnum made three tackles in Montana’s season opening win over Missouri State.

Fellow Skyview grad Tanner Beaman also has earned a starting role in the Big Sky Conference. The tight end made three catches for a team-high 42 yards in Portland State’s opener against Washington State.

Air Force sophomore Kyle Chen (Mountain View) recorded his first collegiate tackle in the Falcons season opener.

Here’s how other collegiate football players from Clark County at four-year programs fared. (Blank signifies a bye week).

Air Force
