Letter: Trump threatens Social Security

I’m really worried. If Joe Kent and Donald Trump are elected, Joe will support and promote Trump’s economic plans. According to Paul Krugman (New York Times), “Under current policy, Congressional Budget Office projections suggest that the trust fund will be exhausted in 2034. At that point, the budget office estimates, benefits would have to be reduced immediately by 23 percent, and potentially by a greater percentage in future years.”

As a senior who worked a full career paying into Social Security and relying on it now to support the rest of my life, this election scares me.
