Letter: Reject initiatives on ballot

By Anita Cannell, VANCOUVER
Published: October 29, 2024, 6:00am

I plan on voting “no” on Initiatives 2109, 2117, 2124 and 2106 and hope that other Clark County residents will do the same. By voting no on all four initiatives, we can make it known that we value our environment and want to take care of our loved ones.

All four initiatives are sponsored by a hedge fund millionaire who wants to shift the bill further onto working people. Why should we take child care away from parents, health care away from seniors and clean energy credits away from families, just to give a tax cut to the super wealthy?

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
