Letter: Reichert doesn’t have solutions

After reading the article “How WA governor candidates would combat the fentanyl crisis” (The Columbian, Oct. 24), I realized that Dave Reichert lacks a concrete plan to combat the fentanyl crisis. Meanwhile, Bob Ferguson has published multiple policies regarding this epidemic.

It’s inappropriate that Reichert hasn’t published policies that describe what actions he will take to combat this epidemic that is tarnishing Washington’s communities. I have witnessed students overdose at school, I have seen how fentanyl has wrecked my local community.

People are already casting their votes. Meanwhile, Reichert cannot even tell us how he’s going to protect us from this deadly epidemic.
