Zombie Brewfest: Doomsday Brewing hosts Washougal’s zombie-themed “brew”haha

There’s nothing a zombie likes more than quality craft beer. Well, except human flesh.

Fortunately for the rest of us, Doomsday Brewing will quench the thirst of the living dead at its annual Zombie Brewfest from 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday at its Washougal location, 421 C St., Suite 3.

The brewer — whose downtown Vancouver and Hazel Dell locations will remain zombie-free — will offer 25 craft beers and spirits as well as pizza, hot dogs and other pub fare. Partygoers should wear their “most gruesome get-up,” according to a press release from Doomsday Brewing, to compete for prizes in a costume contest. The undead will hear music by the fully living bands Atomic Lords of Tokyo, Leader-1 and Dear Assasin.

The zombie brewfest is open to all ages — though parents might not want to give their children nightmares. Tickets are $30 for regular zombies or $5 for non-drinking zombies younger than 21. Buy tickets online at doomsdaybrewing.com/s/shop or at the door. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society no-kill dog and cat shelter.
