Letter: Support Upthegrove for lands

By George Vaughan, Vancouver
Published: October 25, 2024, 6:00am

Washington’s citizens and public lands would benefit by choosing Dave Upthegrove for their next commissioner of public lands. His approach to a holistic stewardship of the state forests, rangeland and watersheds would be an important distinction from his opponent’s industrial approach. Furthermore, Upthegrove is not beholden to timber industry money and undue influence.
