The Clark County Treasurer’s Office is reopening the drive-thru tax payment window for the last two days of October.

The drive-thru window in the Public Service Center’s east parking structure, 1300 Franklin St., in Vancouver, will open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday only.

Treasurer Alishia Topper said the drive-thru window provides residents with a convenient option for dropping off tax payments. Only prewritten checks will be accepted at the kiosk. No other forms of payment will be taken.

An additional secured drop box can be found on the first floor of the Public Service Center. Taxpayers can seal check payments in an envelope and leave them in the secured drop box between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Property taxes can be paid online using a credit or debit card or with a checking or savings account. Electronic checks from a savings or checking account are free. However, debit card transactions are a flat rate of $3.95 and credit card transactions are assessed a 2.39 percent vendor fee.

To make a payment, go to www.clark.wa.gov/treasurer/payment-options or call 1-833-440-8685.

Payments can be mailed to Clark County Treasurer, P.O. Box 35150, Seattle, WA 98124-5150. Be sure to use the return envelope and payment coupon provided with the tax statement when mailing payments.

Tax payments must be postmarked by Oct. 31 to avoid interest charges.
