The Washington State Department of Transportation will host an open house to share safety improvements for state Highway 500 between Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard and 76th Street in Vancouver.
The open house will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Covington Middle School, 11200 N.E. Rosewood Ave., Vancouver.
The project will include designs and features that accommodate all forms of transportation, including walking, biking, driving, public transit and mobility device, according to a news release.
