Letter: Support Perez for Congress

As a faithful MAGA, Joe Kent needs no goals for himself in Congress because congressional MAGAs do not think for themselves. Oklahoma Republican Sen. James Lankford wrote a bipartisan immigration bill that had enough votes to pass. It did much of what Republicans have been saying they want. But Donald Trump told his minions to vote “no,” thus killing the bill. Kent will vote with the MAGA group that allowed Trump to keep blaming Democrats for immigration problems.

By her voting record, Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez is a moderate Democrat, not part of the radical left as Kent claims. See https://tinyurl.com/57rvcwbm; this shows what her voting record really is.

Since entering the House, Marie has worked across the aisle. Regardless of what Kent says, she’s a centrist, a moderate, much to the annoyance of the radical left Kent complains about. She has and will continue to vote for us here in Southwest Washington, sometimes to the chagrin of her party leaders.

In 2022, Marie beat Kent by less than 1 percent. Your choice: Vote for Trump’s mini-me Joe Kent and Project 2025 or vote for Marie. Not voting this time is simply not an option.
