Letter: Support Ferguson for governor

By John and Marian Neumann, Camas
Published: October 24, 2024, 6:00am

We are supporting Bob Ferguson for governor of Washington. There is not adequate room to cover all of his accomplishments as our attorney general. He has supported our environment, keeping our water, air and green spaces clean and accessible. Even suing the federal government to get faster cleanup of Hanford.

He is a protector of women’s rights and all citizens’ civil rights. Because of Bob Ferguson, Washington has the strongest civil rights protection in the country.

Bob did not accept the Sacklers’ pathetic response to the opioid crises and our state received a much larger settlement to use for treatment and education.

Bob is a tireless supporter of education and recognizes that we need an educated workforce.

Please join us in our support and vote for Bob Ferguson for governor.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
