Letter: Small nuclear needs safeguards

I read this week that both Google and Amazon were joining Microsoft to buy up the firms that hope to bring online small nuclear power reactors. Two big questions need to be answered.  Who will regulate the approvals? What kind of safety guarantees are in place to protect against any possible accidents? Too bad these huge companies do not put their funds into wind and solar power. That is the future.
