Battle Ground, Prairie, Fort Vancouver, Kelso and Summit View high school students take part

Sparks flew during Clark College’s SteelDays welding competition on Friday.

Battle Ground, Prairie, Fort Vancouver, Kelso and Summit View high school students assembled kits of laser-cut steel pieces prepared by Clark College welding students and instructors. Each competitor received the same kit, tools and set of directions detailing the welds needed to build a box with geometric shapes on the sides.
