Jaden Brown scores four touchdowns as Mountain View’s defense leads Thunder to 37-7 win over Shelton.

Jaden Brown rushed for 161 yards and four touchdowns as Mountain View rolled past Shelton 37-7 in a 3A Greater St. Helens League game Friday at McKenzie Stadium.

The Thunder defense held Shelton to 122 yards of total offense.

Brown’s 1-yard touchdown run gave Mountain View a 7-0 lead in the first quarter as the Thunder defense produced a pair of three-and-outs from Shelton.

Juan Pasillas-Stanton broke through to block a punt in the second quarter, and three plays later Brown scored on an 18-yard touchdown run to make it 13-0.

Another three-and-out by Shelton led to a 50-yard touchdown run by Brown as Mountain View took a 20-7 lead into halftime.

On defense, Brown recovered a fumble in the third quarter then added his fourth touchdown — a 9-yard run — two plays later to put Mountain View up 26-7.

Dominic McNeal returned an interception 72 yards for the Thunder’s final touchdown.

Mountain View (2-5) improved to 2-1 in league play and will host Kelso on Friday.
