Letter: Support Niles in 17th District

By Eva Luchini, CAMAS

I voice my support for 25-year critical care nurse Terri Niles to the 17th Legislative District in the Washington Statehouse. She is a hardworking health care professional with a long career in public service, a true servant leader.

David Stuebe is a former pharmaceutical salesman who says that makes him a “health care leader” just like Terri. He wants the job as legislator but he says he’ll still keep his gig as mayor of Washougal. He can’t be serious. I can’t take him seriously.

We need someone who understands the important work of a legislator, not someone who just wants to get elected to public office. Vote for the serious candidate — Terri Niles.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
