Clark County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a 16-year-old Tuesday for posting on Snapchat that he planned to “blow up” Heritage High School.

Another student reported the post. Deputies took the student into custody and searched the teen’s locker and backpack, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. They found no evidence of a bomb or bomb-making materials.

Investigators don’t believe the threat is credible, the release said. Authorities booked the student into the Clark County Juvenile Detention Hall on suspicion of threats to bomb or injure property.
