Letter: Support Initiative 2117

First it was reported by Gov. Jay Inslee that the Climate Commitment Act would “only add pennies” to the cost of gas. Now it’s between 25 and 50 cents. The editorial (“I-2117 would harm Washington, its residents,” In Our View, Oct. 4) also says there’s no guarantee that savings will be passed along.

Keep some more money in your pocket and don’t let it be wasted by the government, as they always do, vote “yes” on Initiative 2117.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
