Aden Mintonye rushes for seven touchdowns as Kelso beats Prairie 49-35

Aden Mintonye rushed for 301 yards and seven touchdowns as Kelso outlasted Prairie 49-35 in a 3A Greater St. Helens League game Friday at Schroeder Field in Kelso.

Mintonye had three touchdowns in the first half, the last of which getting Kelso even with Prairie 21-21 heading into halftime.

But in the third quarter is when Kelso took control.

Mintonye scored on runs of 2, 5 and 2 yards as Kelso opened a 42-21 lead.

Preston Hill and Deven Vigue did their best to keep Prairie close.

Hill rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns and had a touchdown reception.

Vigue passed for 171 yards and one touchdown and rushed for 74 yards and another score.
