On the wing

The Vancouver Audubon Society celebrates World Migratory Bird Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at McConnell Park, 918 N.W. 25th Ave., Battle Ground. This international holiday was created to build awareness of migratory birds, their habitats and flyways. This free event offers educational booths by local organizations where attendees can learn about migratory bird needs such as clean water resources, insects and habitats. The family-friendly day will also include bird walks, games, activities and food trucks. Learn more about Vancouver Audubon at vancouveraudubon.org.

Feeling plucky

The Old Liberty Theater, 115 N. Main Ave., Ridgefield, presents Terry Robb and David Vest in concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Robb, winner of 19 Muddy Awards and a member of the Oregon Music Hall of Fame, is a longtime Portland resident. Both artists have top-ranked solo albums. Call 360-887-7260 for tickets, $28, or visit oldlibertytheater.com.

Autumn splendor

Attend a fall open house at the Jane Weber Evergreen Arboretum from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. The event will showcase the ongoing restoration of the historic Stanger House, which was recently repainted; pollinator, vegetable and rose gardens; and the new viewing deck above the creek. Refreshments will be offered. Learn more at ejaneweberarboretum.org or facebook.com/weber.evergreenarboretum.
