A developer has proposed 13 industrial buildings on a roughly 6-acre property off state Highway 503 in Brush Prairie, according to planning documents submitted to Clark County.

The project, from Vancouver-based ADK Properties, will create about 90,000 square feet of industrial space in an area currently zoned for light industrial.

It will encompass three lots adjacent to Highway 503, just north of Northeast 126th Street near Brush Prairie High School.

The development is part of a string of new construction projects along the highway between Vancouver and Battle Ground, all of which will turn long-empty land into commercial and industrial space.

An AirGas facility is planned for a few blocks north of the ADK properties, and Makin’s Prairie Auto Body is building a shop directly south of Northeast 126th Street.

Much of the surrounding properties are also industrial or commercial, though there are residential neighborhoods nearby.

Planning documents show the proposed buildings vary in size from about 5,000 square feet to 11,000 square feet. Each has a small amount of parking; some have loading berths.

County records show ADK bought two of the three properties earlier this year for $1.5 million. The remaining property is owned by Pavel Terpay.

Inquiries to the developer about when construction is expected to start and what company or companies could be moving into the buildings were not immediately answered.
