The county’s actions to sell the Tri-Mountain Golf Course are like telling someone, “We’re selling your house, we already have a buyer and you can comment about it later.” No explanation to the public, no hearings and bids have gone out. This public recreational resource when sold will not be replaced with another recreational resource for the public. However, the Clark County Council hasn’t explained how the funds from the sale will be used. There’s a saying in the Midwest, “Don’t eat your seed corn.”
