With large early runs of coho salmon, anglers hope for big late run, too

Some rain is needed because clear water not good for coho fishing

Coho returns to the Columbia River have been way above the projection, with the fish pushing into areas where they are rarely seen, and delighting anglers.

With the earlier returning “A” run busting records and beating expectations, local anglers are hoping the later returning “B” run will also be strong.
