Prep football roundup: Chase McGee, Titan Brody lead Camas to win at Coeur d’Alene 38-21

Chase McGee caught two touchdowns passes and Titan Brody rushed for a pair of scores as Camas beat Coeur d’Alene 38-21 in a non-league game Friday in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Brody had a 1-yard touchdown run and Jake Davidson threw touchdown passes to McGee and Anthony Forner as the Papermakers scored 21 second-quarter points to lead 21-7 at halftime.

McGee’s second touchdown reception gave Camas a 31-14 lead in the fourth quarter.

After Coeur d’Alene cut the deficit to 31-21, the Papermakers got a fourth-down stop in the red zone with 6:46 to play.

The Papermakers then drove the length of the field to seal the victory on Brody’s 4-yard touchdown run.

KING’S WAY CHRISTIAN 28, COLUMBIA-WHITE SALMON 7 — Ryan Charlton rushed for 280 yards on 27 carries and scored three touchdowns for King’s Way Christian in a Trico League game Friday in White Salmon.

Charlton also record 6.5 tackles as the Knights did not allow the Bruins offense to score.

Columbia’s lone touchdown came on an interception return for a touchdown.

Owen Paulsen also threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Caleb Silva.
