Letter: Focus on good of immigrants

I think Rep. Marie Perez has her heart in the right place when she talks about making everything better, but her emphasis is all about the border. I think this is unfair when there are so many good, wonderful people that have crossed and done well.

We have so many that work hard farming, gardening for homeowners, working in restaurants, housekeeping, working in our medical field, etc. So why don’t we dwell on the good, rather than the bad? Maybe if we did that, things would begin to get a lot better for everyone. Just a thought.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
