Letter: Trump is clear choice

By Deborah Larner, VANCOUVER

Trump or Harris? The choice could not be clearer. The country was so much better off under President Trump: $2 gas, inflation at 1.9 percent, real wage growth, record minority employment, labor participation rate over 63 percent, affordable housing, rent, and groceries, mortgage rates under 3 percent and secure borders.

The last 3½ years of the Biden/Harris administration have been a disaster. And judging by the bad job that Vice President Harris has done so far and her campaign about nothing, I have no reason to believe that a President Harris would do any better.
