Letter: City needs to provide answers

By Jim Luce, Vancouver

The Vancouver City Council has a problem. It’s the inability to relocate “campers” along Mill Plain and along other rights of way.

Anyone would be furious if this “encampment” occurred in their neighborhood. It is a public health and safety issue. We attended the city forum on Oct. 23 and officials said “we hope for a resolution soon.”

When is soon? The city council owes the public an answer.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
