RIDGEFIELD – Ridgefield School District officials recognized the November 2024 Employee and Students of the Month at the Nov. 12 Board of Directors meeting.
The November employees of the month are Ridgefield High School band teacher Emily Brabant and Perla Hauge, a paraprofessional at South Ridge Elementary School.
Brabant has consistently expanded the band program and is dedicated to enhancing the musicianship of the ensemble, challenging students to develop both their technical skills and artistic expression.
Hauge was lauded as embodying the spirit of a dedicated, compassionate and proactive educator. Known for her professionalism and courtesy, she approaches challenges head-on, never hesitating to voice ideas that will enhance the experience for both students and staff.
The November students of the month are Bo Bucklin, Mikey Wheelon, Sebas Pena Meza, Olivia Henderson, Anna Chapin, Jade Gonzalez, Elina Caine and Ethan Jarrell.
