Letter: Youth should prepare to speak up

I am in the higher-voting-percentage age group. Please don’t tell the youth that their absence from voting was felt. But they were promised a lot from the winning presidential candidate. If the promises don’t appear to be happening on tips tax and cheap, cheap fuel for those who have to hustle across town, then maybe the youth should explore ways to notify those in charge of the new administration and Congress.
