Letter: Stand up against evil

When I was a teenager, I used to watch movies and read books about the Holocaust. I would wonder how the German people could stand by and let it happen, and later declare they didn’t know the evil he was doing.

Then I remember thinking, “Would I be like the majority of Germans and follow evil?” I never thought I would find the answers to these questions because I lived in America, and we could not tolerate this evil. Both my questions have been answered; yes, the majority of Americans can and do follow an evil man and watch as he rapes women and hires pedophiles and mentally ill people to run our government. Yes, I am on the side of good and did not go along with this evil but voted against it like many Black women.

History will tell a story of unimaginable atrocities he and others will do. Those two questions in my mind have been answered. Four years of evil, filth, greed, and no doubt he will be a multibillionaire at the end.

Already, people who voted for evil are pretending they did not vote for him. But you can’t hide. As my friend says, “The hoods are off,” and we see you.
