MAPLEWOOD — On Nov. 4, two small dogs were left in the care of Vancouver Fire Department Station 2 in central Vancouver.

The crew affectionately named the dogs Tom and Jerry and gave them a bath. On-duty crew members made makeshift leashes using hose straps to take the pair on a walk around the neighborhood.

After a fun day spent with their firemen friends, the pair of pups were then turned over to the Humane Society for Southwest Washington to find new homes.
