In early 2025, HGTV star Christina Haack is set to star in a new show titled “The Flip Off.”
Joining her as stars of the show are her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife Heather Rae El Moussa. Haack’s estranged husband, Josh Hall was also expected to take part in the competition show, but was removed from the lineup as a result of their ongoing divorce.
However, People is reporting that Haack’s other ex-husband, car enthusiast Ant Anstead is now expected to take Hall’s place.
People shared photos of the former husband and wife filming together in Los Angeles.
This news comes after the El Moussas said the show will continue despite Hall and Haack’s divorce.
Hall and Haack ended their marriage, separating in July.
“Ant is going to appear on the show, but he won’t be Christina’s partner,” the source told People. The details of Anstead’s role on the show have not been made clear.
After announcing their separation and Hall’s subsequent departure from filming the show, Haack joked with fans on Instagram that it would “be a genius ratings idea” to include Anstead in the show, E! News reported.
However, she later walked back on her comments admitting she “can’t work with anymore exes. I already work with Tarek,” her first husband, with whom she shares two children with.
Haack and Anstead also share one child together.
Following the comment about Anstead, the former couple opted to put their differences aside and started to follow each other on Instagram again.
Haack addressed the decision to follow Anstead after the couple spent months in a contentious custody battle following their divorce.
“Ant and I share Hudson … and I feel like he deserves to have us get along,” she told Backgrid, per People.
“The Flip Off” will showcase Haack and the El Moussas as they “compete to see who can find, buy, renovate and flip a house for the biggest financial gain.” The show is set to premiere in early 2025, per HGTV.
