Letter: Country needs to reevaluate morals

America can debate a lot of things about Donald Trump but there is no denying that more than half of this country just elected a convicted felon, a man found liable for sexual assault, impeached twice and mimicking fellatio in front of the world among many other things.

I am guessing this guy wouldn’t be hired to run a coffee shop by most of those who voted for him, yet they felt he was suitable to be the most powerful leader in the free world. The hypocrisy between “Christian values” and voting for this guy is mind-numbing. This country needs to reevaluate its morals and integrity because that is what will eventually take us down.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
