Bosco Farm Neighborhood Park needs volunteers

A restoration planting project is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, the Veterans Day holiday, at Bosco Farm Neighborhood Park, 3601 N.E. 39th St.

Native plants will be added to the park’s areas of natural landscaping. Native plants provide habitat for pollinators and wildlife and reduce maintenance needs.

Sign up to volunteer at bit.ly/BoscoNP. Supplies will be provided, but make sure to wear weather-appropriate clothing, including long pants and closed-toe shoes or boots. Some gloves will be available, but it’s best to bring your own.
