Columbia River kept its season alive by edging Aberdeen 7-6 on the road in a Class 2A football pigtail game Tuesday.
The Rapids (5-5) travel to face Franklin Pierce near Tacoma in a state preliminary game on Friday.
Columbia River placed fifth in the 2A Greater St. Helens League, setting up Tuesday’s game against the fourth-place team in the Evergreen Conference.

SUMNER 2, SKYVIEW 0 — The 4A GSHL champion Storm fell in a district semifinal game in Federal Way. The Storm had already clinched a state berth.
CAMAS 2, KENNEDY CATHOLIC 1, OT — Brooklyn Burns scored in the first overtime period to keep the Papermakers’ season alive.
Kaliyah Salley scored in the 14th minute to give Camas (9-7-1) the lead. Kennedy forced overtime with a stoppage-time goal.
The Papermakers will face Rogers-Puyallup in a winner-to-state, loser-out game Thursday in Tacoma.
PUYALLUP 4, UNION 0 — The Titans (7-7-4) saw their season end in a loser-out game in Kent.

GIG HARBOR 5, MOUNTAIN VIEW 0 — The top-seeded Tides advanced to the championship match with a lopsided win in Tacoma.
3A GSHL champion Mountain View (10-7-1) has already qualified for state with a shootout win over Enumclaw on Saturday.

CJ Moore had a goal and three assists as Seton Catholic advances to a winner-to-state semifinal match on Thursday against Elma.
