Washington state’s courts network is dealing with a data outage that has affected online services.

“The [Administrative Office of the Courts] recently detected unauthorized activity on the Washington Courts network and took immediate action to secure critical systems. At this time, we are working as quickly as possible to restore all services,” according to Washington Court’s in a news release.

The outage includes all Judicial Information Systems, the Washington Courts websites and associated services, Wendy Ferrell, associate director of the AOC, told The News Tribune in an email.

A message on the Clark County Superior Courts website said there is no estimated time for systems to be restored.

“State data systems are currently experiencing a system outage that will impact Superior Court and Clerk’s office operations. At this time, all systems run by the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) are down including Odyssey and JABS,” according to the website. “Superior Court will continue to run normal operations. Please be patient with court staff as we work through these challenges.”

Updates will be posted to the Clark County courts website.

“AOC is working closely with third-party partners to safely restore and test our systems and determine what, if any, impact there is to the network,” the release said. “There will be intermittent impacts to accessibility of the Washington Courts website and other systems in the coming days as this work continues.”
