Letter: Letter is hypocritical

Sounds like Stuart Riley (“Mind Your Own Business,” Our Readers’ Views, Oct. 25) thinks he is 100 perfect morally perfect and pure. Apparently, he thinks that he himself is the god and the judge above God, our creator and our only judge, and he falsely accuses our creator of immorality.

He also purports that the word “abortion” isn’t found in the Bible, but neither is the English word “toothpaste” found in the Bible. Yet the Bible specifically commands all of us to not murder someone else, which includes unborn babies.

Then Mr. Riley hypocritically condemns the Bible as not being a moral book, yet he quotes a moral passage from the Bible and tries to tell the rest of us to live by the very Bible he condemns. Go figure.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
