Letter: Vote for life

Friday letters

The most important issue in this election is about the life or death of living beings called pre-born babies. They have no voice or vote to have their lives spared, but you do. Even Pope Francis said we should vote for candidates that support the lives of the unborn.

This vote is about pro-life or pro-death. And it is about religion — the religion of self or the religion of accountability to a creator. No pre-born baby’s body belongs to their pregnant mother. And every woman’s body belongs to the Creator. Our Creator has never given up ownership of any of us — male or female.

Vote for life. Vote for the voice of the pre-born who want to live. Don’t let them be martyred for the sake of money or power.

Make sure you use the drop boxes so your vote counts. If it is postmarked but arrives late, it doesn’t count. Your vote matters.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
