Letter: Protect ballot boxes

By George Etter IV, HAZEL DELL
Published: November 1, 2024, 6:00am

Sad, but necessary, all voter drop boxes should be covered by surveillance cameras. Our State of Washington vote-by-mail and drop box system if far too valuable to let some ill-advised personage cause havoc to our rights to cast our votes and be assured that those votes will be properly tallied.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
