The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent arson Sunday at a Hazel Dell church.

The sheriff’s office and the Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office responded about 7 a.m. to City Harvest Church at 8100 N.W. Ninth Ave.

Someone broke a window at the church and attempted to light a fire inside. The church’s fire suppression system extinguished the flames, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

The sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate.
