Letter: How can anyone support Trump?

By Claude Foutch, Vancouver

I noticed with alarm today how Donald Trump spoke out on his website about a new “Reich” developing after his reelection. This means his creation of a move to rounding up any and all freedom-loving Americans, immigrants and any others he decides who must go to “camp.”

Having personally visited Dachau, where Adolph Hitler sent his intellectuals and anti-Nazi people for certain disposal over time, one would wonder about the mental state of Trump. How can anyone, Republicans included, ever consider reelection of this man? I spent three years in Germany and spoke with many people about their lives after the war. They shuddered at the thought of ever going through those times again.

Vote Biden!
