Friendly shot put rivalry pushes Prairie’s Foster, Mountain View’s Pasillas-Stanton to top of state rankings

The juniors hold the top two marks in Class 3A headed into this week's state meet

Prairie High’s Will Foster and Juan Pasillas-Stanton of Mountain View are friends because of track and field, root for each other’s success as competitors, and share a plan for what a perfect ending to their junior seasons would be as Class 3A’s top-two shot putters all spring.

“First-place tie,” Pasillas-Stanton said.
