6 ethics complaints filed with Clark County in past year still await investigation

Delays frustrate county officials, those who filed complaints

Six ethics complaints filed with Clark County in the past year are still waiting to be investigated. The delay seems to be just as frustrating for county officials as it is for those who filed the complaints.

In 2021, Clark County voters passed a charter amendment requiring the county to create a code of ethics and review process, including an autonomous ethics commission, by July 31, 2022.
