On the eve of a scheduled interview with Vancouver police leadership, an officer under investigation for allegations of lying about his resume and harassing a female co-worker instead resigned, records show.

Vancouver police’s professional standards unit found Officer Keith Kircher violated multiple department policies, including those regarding truthfulness, insubordination and discriminatory harassment, according to hundreds of pages of internal affairs records obtained by The Columbian.
