TACOMA — A 51-year-old man was shot to death with a pellet rifle in Graham on Wednesday.

Pierce County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched at 6:35 p.m. to a call of a shooting at a home off of 252nd Street East and 52nd Avenue East. They found the man deceased outside, the department posted on Facebook.

Deputies were told the victim’s 49-year-old girlfriend shot her boyfriend with a pellet gun. She was arrested and booked into Pierce County Jail on suspicion of second-degree murder.

The Medical Examiner’s Office arrived to help with the investigation as detectives and forensic investigators retrieved the pellet gun and other evidence, the post said.
